Education Matters Podcast Now on “The MESH”

Education Matters’ Business Partner Jackson Group Interactive created The MESH, a new media online network, designed to produce and deliver unique content to computers, mobile phones, iPods, iPads, and any other device connected to the Internet. Just like a traditional television network, The MESH  has a series of programs and “shows” on a variety of topics… the difference is you can watch or listen to what you want, when you want, and where you want.

Education Matters  is one of the programs and is  hosted by Lamar Mitchell, Champions of Education, and Tracy Hall, Education Matters in the Catawba Valley.  Topics include a variety of  education initiatives with a focus on what really matters for our students and economy.  Special guests will be invited to join our hosts each month to give their perspective about the hot topics in education and what you need to know.

The MESH is dedicated to providing high-quality programs to a worldwide audience.  All of the shows are produced in Western North Carolina, with most of the talent and guests also coming from that general area.

Viewers can also subscribe to any of the shows through iTunes at no cost  to automatically receive all future new episodes.

Just listened to your podcast on Math, Science and Robotics. I’m excited to hear more about the growth of these initiatives in our area. I am currently a F4K mentor and run a program that encourages fiber optic education. One of the biggest complaints I hear from hiring managers in the the telecommunication industry reflects the same ones you mentioned in the show. I applaud you and your efforts. I do believe individuals are missing out on some unrecognized talents both in themselves and others. I would love to learn more about your initiatives.
